I Had This Jelly Roll....

....it had been sitting on the stash shelf since the Shop-Hop of 2009.....
Poor Thing....!

So....i said to myself....."Self....you've never made a jelly roll quilt.....What are you waiting for....??"
I searched for a pattern....found a simple one.....and proceeded to cut and sew.....

It wasn't until i'd got the front finished ..... that realized....

It's a Christmas Fabric....!!!

Well.....i wanted a "real" Christmas quilt......and when this is finished....

I'll have two...!!

Plus.....!!

My new "Quilts for Kids" fabric arrived Friday afternoon...
Love that big brown box truck...!!

  2. I didn't know it was Christmas fabric either...No matter it is still gorgeous. With all the new stuff coming in on the box truck and what you have stashed, I guess you are going to be busy for a long long time. I hope your Sunday is a wonderful one!

  3. Hi there, Great job on the quilt top-I've never done a jelly roll quilt either but I may have to think about this plus I do have to make a baby quilt soon. So you had snow a few days ago and today(after having 76 degrees yesterday)it is raining with snow showers-I'm so ready for spring and the sun to stay.
Have a wonderful day-I'll be hand quilting.
