...that's about all that's happening in the high country today...

I flipped my work schedule for today because of an afternoon meeting...

that should confuse the guys..

And the Thunder Rolls....

...we've had almost an inch of rain since 2AM...

The thunder continues to rumble...roll..and echo thru the mountains...

Flash Flood warnings are up...but, so far no tornado warnings..

I think Old Man Winter finally gave up and Spring is here....

Sorry...for the break in blogging....

I took a four day weekend and just walked away from all things computer...

Now.....I'm Back..!!

A few days ago a blogger friend posted about the "How Comes?" in our lives....

and this started me thinking...

Do I have any "How Comes?"...?

Also...one of my favorite movies is Cool Runnings with John Candy...

the movie about the first Jamaican bobsled team..

In the movie the brakeman "Sanka" chanted this little rhyme...

and down hill they would go...

Well .. when the dogs and I go out in the mornings I get them back inside by chanting...

Happy Birthday.....Happy Easter....

My daughter's birthday was Wednesday the 16th and since she was in Kentucky pro suing her nurse practitioner degree as a mid-wife...we sent a card and little gift...

But..

Today is mom's birthday...

she was born on Easter Sunday and this is only the second time her birthday has fallen on Easter.

When i asked what she would like for her birthday dinner the reply was...

"A big juicy hamburger with all the trimmings..!"

So guess what we're having for Easter lunch...

That's right....along with potatoes salad, baked beans, coleslaw, and lemon pie.
