Another holiday........

Another holiday i forgot.........

I try to change the decor around the house to fit the holiday or season...also to chase away the boredom's.........and yesterday as i was sitting home watching the snow melt...i remembered St. Patrick's Day.........soooo whipped up these place mats from some stuff i found in my stash.........i must have thought of St. P's day at some point...cause i had shamrocks!!!

Cute.......i like'm....................now my mom will want some........................

Made it to work today.......but, my 30 minute drive took me 90 minutes.......6 miles of solid ice.....tryed to turn around twice......it was easier to go forward ....... God Bless 4x4's!!!

Sun is out and ice is melting fast.......we may get up to 30* today........and if you can believe it... high 60's or even 70 by this weekend.... already had calls inquiring if the campgrounds will be open this weekend!!

Hey.....my idea of roughing it ....is Holiday Inn without room service!!!!.....Maybe...i'm in the wrong business!!??....forget it....can't make me leave......i love my rangers, the crew and the parks!!!

Enjoy your day.......................................

  4. I always do the same...change things around for the holidays. I put away all my hearts and flowers for Valentines and tried to put out my shamrocks last weekend, but they must be filed in the research department. I couldn't find them. I think I'll give up on it and just decorate for Easter. I found those things. I'm glad the sun is out and melting things for you. The worst part of winter has got to be the ice. Take care !

  5. Those placemats are stunning. I love the colors (I'm partial to greens). The are predicting freezing rain for our area too. How it's bright and sunny out. Hope it stays that way.

  7. I agree with you on camping. If there is no mattress and running water in my room, no use in going.

  8. I also agree with your version of roughing it. REALLY roughing it would be a Travelodge that's not near a fast food place or a diner of some kind.
