I Made It.....

(today's sunrise)

Yes....i made it to work...
Took be over an hour..!

When i left the Twelve Acre Wood..
the sun was shinning and the winds were quite..
Before i made it into town....ran into white-out conditions and icy roads...
Thank Goodness for 4-wheel drive..!!
I clicked in the 4x4 and creeped along at 20-25 mph..
On the other side of town the roads were clear and almost dry..
Go figure..,!!
It stopped snowing around noon..
But
The wind....!!!!**@@##
It was pushing me thru the parking lot...
and i'm pretty bottom heavy...!!

  1. Glad you made it safely! I'm so glad I don't have to worry about those icy road conditions anymore. Retirement is a blessing. We are to get warmer today so hopefully you'll be the same there and have no trouble on the road. Take care!

  8. was cold here, 1 below this morning, we made it home from florida and Myrtle Beach in blowing heavy snow, this was a snow less winter up here and everyone is talking about what it is going to mean, the Maple Syrup business is hurting due to lack of snow and the resorts had it bad, everyone says we brought this weather on by coming home too early....
