Another One x 2.....

It's another one of those days when the outside world has disappeared....
and
the parental units also had a lightning hit....
Blew out both their TVs....the under the kitchen cabinet lights...and several of the wall sockets in the kitchen...
the hit was a tree outside the NE corner of their house..
there's bark and leaves everywhere...
Could'a been worse...electrician on the way...!!

  1. Sounds like you all need some of those old fashioned lightning rods there. Glad it wasn't any worse, but still bad enough that you've both been hit now. No rain here just very hot and sunny.

  2. Happy to hear again that no one was hurt. That would be so scary not to mention expensive - some lightning rods are definitely in order in my opinion. Stay safe and have a great weekend.

  4. Thank goodness there was no fire. We had a strike happen near here and the family lost everything they had from the fire. Lightening is so scary.

  6. Glad you are ok, but hate it when things like that happen. Hoping it will all be repaired and you can have a good weekend.

  7. I'm glad no one was hurt, how scarey! A co-worker of mine had lightening hit a tree so hard it broke it and landed on three of their six cars (yes they have six cars) and their house. She decided to have the trees removed, lol. But I agree with the others, a lightening rod might be the trick! Stay safe!

  8. It is lucky that the damage was not more extensive. It seems like you need some sort of lightening rod or something to help direct the attack. It is a good thing that an electrician is on its way.
