Yesterday we went to the Christmas in July Festival....
Here are a few things i found interesting......like this little sign.....didn't see little hand written note until i downloaded the photos.....
Chickens!.......I love chickens...!!!
Could not pass-up this sign........love the name of the company.....
Dogs with booties.....
Christmas trees in the middle of the festival....
Port-a-potties for the handicapped...
People......lots of people....
Frogs...
And yes...!! A harp player....
He's there every year....strolls through the crowds playing Christmas carols...
Life is Good
I love festivals like that one! Lots to see for sure! Happy Sunday
ReplyDeleteWhat a great festival! I've taken photos before not realizing I wasn't supposed to be. Once I saw a sign that said something like, "Take as many photos as you like. You think you'll go home and make it, but will you really?" At first I didn't realize the sign for the puppets included the name of the company so I was wonder exactly what a "mountain booger" was. Sometimes I'm a little slow on the uptake. Enjoy the rest of your Independence Day weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove the chickens, and the dog with booties. What a good idea that is, when you think of it. Protects his feet from the hot, hard pavement.
ReplyDeleteI like running into festivals as we travel. Loved the pictures and the narrative. Dogs with booties, I hope you did not tell Max!
ReplyDeleteLove the sign though.
Love from the flatlands on the 4th weekend.

Why make a neat sign then forbid photos? Don't get it but am glad you risked prosecution for us.
ReplyDeleteI'm a festival person too and I always have my camera with me. Love that you got the "No photos" sign. oops.... I have photos of my husband climbing by the "Do not climb" signs too. Not intentional.. he just thinks he's 12.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had a great time! I love the husband sign that says "no photos" You had better be careful or you will get coal in your stocking this year!
ReplyDeletePort-a-potties for the handicapped always seem to get me into the Christmas spirit!
ReplyDeleteHey, I liked the "Miss my husband" sign - - probably only because I'm not married.....
The husband sign is pretty funny!
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a porta potty for handicaps and am surprised they are not everywhere. Your photos are so beautiful
