I agree with you on that quilt that made your eyes cross. I can't imagine what it was like for the person that made it. The white iris is just beautiful. We are to go above freezing finally here today and may have a mix of snow/rain coming in later but right now the sun is shining. Life is good here too!
Looking at quilts always brings back memories of child hood. Mama made many and piled them on in the winter. Looking back, I cannot remember where she stored all of them. Enjoy the quilts, but a srping flower makes me long for the South.
