Just got back....

...from an emergency run to the Cute Vet....

The last few days i've noticed that our baby girl Mia...just hasn't been herself...
She had rapid shallow breathing....shivering....occassional hacky cough...
lack of energy.....this is not the behavior of a Jack Russell...

This morning the "mommy" intuition kicked in and the brain yelled in my ear...

"Somethings Wrong"

So down the mountain we went....

Mia has the beginnings of asthma and a possible enlarged heart...

She's now full of fluids....antibotics....and steroids...
she's resting on the sofa with Max and i'll be joining them soon...

My question is......where did all these germs come from....?

No ones been sick in this cabin for years....
Guess we were due...

Life is Good

  1. You ask the mysterious question. Can you believe Dr's that it is germs? Not weather? I know it is germs, but as you ask, WHERE DO THEY COME FROM????

    Hope she is okay!!!!!

  2. Sure home your little one is better soon. And hope you are better too. When it rains it pours they say. I say it's because of the lack of sunshine...I do miss it here. Looked out a while ago and saw the image of the sun trying to break through the clouds but it never succeeded.

  3. Hope Mia feels better soon. We've been passing the "stuff" around here. I think the Alaska company brought it all here.

  4. germs come from people who don't take care of their own...and the rest of us have to suffer as well.

  5. Hi there, So sorry to hear about Mia's asthma and bug; hoping the antiobiotics works quickly and she kicks the bug to the woods. Enjoy a restful weekend.

  7. She is so cute. Someone asked me if my dog had Jack Russel in her but she doesn't, she is Queensland Heeler. But this photo of your dog does kind of look like my dog.

    Glad she is OK.
