Bead Count......

Look......look.....friends and neighbors......
August is over and the fog has moved on...
Nothing but Carolina Blue sky....

The final bead count was........
drum-roll please....!!!

13 green beads = 13 light snows
12 blue beads = 12 heavy snows

Sounds like we're in for another rough winter....!!

The ladies at work tell me ..... "you must have did it wrong!"

Maybe....i did.....but, just in case ...... i'm being like a squirrel and
storing stuff for a long cold....snowy..... stuck in the house......few months.....

Off to the Wal*Marts to start stocking-up.....!!

Enjoy

  1. It sounds like a good idea to me. I'm going to make sure I've got extra on hand and just stay in as much as possible and hibernate this winter. Light snows are ok but 13 heavy ones...that is way too much. Have a great Saturday!

  2. I am sure that the forecast is just for your area. Cause last winter was enough for me. hahahahahaha!

I do like the idea of doing the test, this is great. I want to remember to look back next spring.

I do that with hurricane predicters and then forget to compare the actual with the predicted.
Sherry and I had just commented on the 'cute' entries. We love following along, eventhough Sherry will not comment.
    Love from UTAH!

  3. Now you are going to keep tract for us to see if the predictions come true. Good idea to store up so you have everything you need while you are showing us the beautiful snow pictures. Thanks in advance.

  4. I love that you were keeping track, how could someone in Utah go about doing it?? Where did you find your information?

  5. I love your bead count! Good for you for being prepared! I need to rotate my water supply as it is a year old now. I will use the old water for the plants. It is always earthquake season for us in California.
