I guess it's time to teach this old dog some new tricks....

  1. Ohhhhhh, I have camera envy. I was just whining on my blog this morning that I need a new camera. Sigh, I'll have to live vicariously through you and your camera for a while longer.

  2. Have fun! It would be wonderful to be able to zoom in on things like that. Hoping your day is a great one!

  3. Congrats! I, for one, am NOT envious. Because I'm too lazy to mess with settings.

  4. That looks like a great camera ~ now we can look forward to lots of pictures from you :o) ~ Ally x

  5. This took me back to my excitement when I got my new Nikon camera in December. Enjoy it...I know you will!

  6. Nice looking camera. Looks a little like my Canon. I know you are going to have fun with it. I have had my camera for about 2 years now and I still don't know what all the bells and whistles do.

  7. Hi there, I got a Nikon D60 last year and love it but the video and manual left me not as educated as I'd like-so I use auto alot. Can't wait to see the photos you get with it.
    Hugs, Noreen

  8. My daughter took classes at the local community college when she got her first "big" camera. Now she's a professional photographer with her own business. Love that camera! You are soooo lucky!!

  9. Well, when you get it all figured out could you give me some lessons? I have a Nikon D80 and I have tried to read and understand about the settings but I'm just instruction-challenged. But I do manage some pretty good shots every once in awhile.

  10. I'm not a photographer but I love to look at other people's photos so I'm waiting to see what you come up with. Like flies on the deer.

  11. It looks like my Sony and all I can say is that I still don't know all the buttons after a year. It really does elevate your picture taking skills though. Enjoy.
