....time to hang up the Native Americans and the Pilgrims....
And bring the "mother"of all crock pots out of storage....
THE TURKEY ROASTER
Love my turkey roaster...!!I can cook a 12lb bird in about 2 1/2 hours......sleep in.....
no more stuffing the bird at 5:30 AM....!!
(And i think i read a Wally World sales flyer that they are on sale again)
Enjoy
That is a quick way to roast a Turkey. I've never had one, but envy those that do. I think with DS#3 taking over Thanksgiving this year that my turkey roasting days may be over anyway. I love your quilt hanging with the Thanksgiving theme. Have a great Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI have a roaster but have never used it for a turkey. You can make a massive amount of chicken and noodles in one though.
ReplyDeleteThat is a big Crock Pot ~ and how lovely to cook a turkey in such a short time ~ we have a slow cooker are they the ame as a crock pot ~ Ally x
ReplyDeleteNow I'm intrigued! May not be Thanksgiving here...but hey...I'll eat turkey any time! Tks
ReplyDeleteOh my! I've never seen one that big! I could make a ton of chili in that thing!
ReplyDeleteI have heard of folks that use those things. Sounds like a great cooker. ANYTHING that allows us to sleep in is worth looking into.
ReplyDeleteWe saw a truck load of trees today. Sherry says, "there is some of Boomers Trees!"
What a great pot, you are one lucky woman. I hope you have a great holiday in case I don't see you before then. I mean your blog. -- Inger
ReplyDeleteLove that 'quilt'! And that crock pot!! I want one!

I'm so glad you posted this! I've been thinking of buying a roaster...what features are a must? I have absolutely no place to put one unless I store it in the garage between uses but I think it might be worth it. I love your Pilgrim wallhanging - perfect! blessings, marlene
