This is...

"Sparky"

He's (we assume it's a he) is a feral cat that's been hanging around for several months.....

The parental units have semi-adopted him....
they watch out for him and leave him food on their front porch everyday....

Now i have no issues with Sparky....
But
...the dogs and Misskitty...

OMGoodness...!!

Such barking.....growling......hissing.....
They can't stand it ....when Sparky walks up the drive to the parental Lodge....

And Sparky...!!

He takes great pleasure in stopping to groom himself ......right outside our cabin.....
in full sight of the fur babies....!!

After about 10 minutes of frantic noise.......Sparky calmly walks on up the hill....

And now i hear......the male parental unit is searching the Internet for a......
"winterized cat house...."

Life is Good

  2. I agree, I think Sparky has found a home there. Once you feed a cat they are going to stick around. Hope your Tuesday is a terrific one!

  4. I don't think Sparky has ever had it so good. BTW, does his name come from the the fact that a lot of noise is "sparked" when he comes near your house?

  5. Amazing how cats have a way of appearing not to care, notice or be affected by things around them.
Many times I wish I had the personality of a cat.
Yeah, this time Sparky has hit on some luck.
    Love from down here.

  6. I've got to get one of those houses for my feral cat. Good for your parents for keeping an eye out for him. He looks like a mighty hunter, and much like his bigger, and more lethal cousins.

  7. He does have the strut of a male. Wonder how much longer he will be considered feral. Think he is nearing pet catagory.
