Ahhhh....is it....??!

......hummm....yahhhhh...took these pictures at 6:45 this am....
The view from the SE side of the front porch is the sun rising........
The view from the NW side of the front porch is the moon hanging over the horizon.....
........was it a sun rise or a moon set!!??
Don't ya just love this time of the year...... the time of the year when everything seems to slow down and prepare for the coming cold months....Even the clock seems slower....
A time when your winding down the summer/fall projects and storing up the winter projects......but.....no one seems to be in a hurry.....
Even Mother Nature seems to say...." yaaaa I'll get that sun up and that moon down......sometime today!.....what's the rush!"
Enjoy

  2. Wasn't the moon beautiful last night? My husband and I just stood on the porch and looked and looked. And bright? It was like a flashlight shining in your eyes!

    Beautiful pictures.
    have a great day.

  6. That's a wonderful moonrise (moonset??) photo! I've always been addicted to the lure of the night. Autumn is a fantastic time of year.

  7. It was a beautiful moon this morning and my ride to work was in daylight of sorts...the sun not really up yet but it was rising. The time change and the moon were welcome as far as not having to drive in the dark for sure.

  8. Great pics! The moon was so bright and the morning sun wakes me each morn shining through the double windows by my bed. NO alarms for me:) It does seem to slow down but then I don't have to go to work (away from home).
