"The Day....!!"

This is the malechild's head of hair...

And after almost two years of letting that beautiful hair grow...
He decided it was time...

Time for a hair cut....

Not sure if i recognize the person sitting in the chair....
Haven't seen his neck...shoulders....or face for many months...

Anyway.....11 inches later...

It's bagged...tagged....enveloped.....adressed....
and will be on it's way to "Locks of Love" later today.....

Hopefully a deserving child will be enjoying it soon....

Life is Good

  1. How wonderful for your son to donate his locks.

  2. Good for him! Some child will be very happy.

  3. How great of your son to do this! Locks of Love is a wonderful program. And Mom, the bonus is now you get to see his handsome face again.

  4. What a great donation your son has made. One of my sons has done that 4 or 5 times now I'm not sure which. He has beautiful curly hair when it grows out. I'm like you and love to see his face when he finally gets his hair cut. I hope your Saturday is a great one!

  5. That is sweet of him to grow his hair for locks of love. Give him a big kiss.

  6. This is so good! We had a grandson we were so proud of who 'dunnit'.

Yeah, you will hardly recognize him,but I know you are thrilled with such a gift of love. Sometimes you could just yell with pride when the younger ones do something that tickles your heart strings.
Shoot, we are even proud of him!!!!

Love from the land of NO-SNOW

  7. Awww, good for him for giving it to Locks of Love! There will be an incredibly happy person out there as a result of his gesture!
    good for him!

  8. That is a great thing to do. My Granddaughter Emily has done it 3 times and she is only 12. It is such a good cause. Tell him I am proud of him for doing this.

  9. What a wonderful thing to do to help some child. I know you are so proud of your son. Take care, Jean

  10. He has beautiful hair so I know someone will appreciate it. So nice of him to think to do this.

  11. Love to hear of someone doing something wonderful for others, I know you are proud as he should be also. Take care, Sheila

  12. That is a really wonderful cause and he can be proud.
That was kind of a big decision to lob it all off. Way to go.

  13. What a great thing to do! And so much of it too.
