  1. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Our day was slow as well-stayed in bed til after 8:00am, had a leisurely breakfast, worked on a Sudoka puzzle now blogging; plus tonight my oldest comes for turkey dinner with her whole gang-such fun! What more could a gal want.
Stay warm and healthy-it's in the negative figures here today but no snow yet.
    Hugs, Noreen

  7. Hah, love the photo and good for you for going back to bed and doing something nice for you! I would have loved to but we had to take Nicholas friend Maddie to the airport for and early morning flight; I have one sad little boy today!

  8. What? No snow? I'm surprised!

This morning I put supper in the crockpot, did a very LARGE load of laundry, watched the Rose Parade and finished my 2011 calendar (see my post from today.) Now I'm catching up with all my blogger friends. It's been a good day.

  10. Happy New Year to all of you, grey and drizzly or not. Going back to bed and not getting up until noon sounds like a wonderful way to start the year.

I watched the Rose Parade. I learned that if I watch it on HGTV, I actually get to see the Equestrian Units, so I was one happy lady.

  11. Good for you...I read somewhere else that whatever you did today you will do a lot of in the coming year!! A Chzeck (sp?) tradition. I also learned about the blackeyed peas today. And how they will bring you luck if you eat them today. Isn't blogging fun? So much to learn. Happy New Year! --Inger

  13. We did our usual---fed the cows and checked them out. As someone else mentioned we always heard what you do today you will do all year long. If you got cows that stands to reason. lol We had our blackeyed peas too.

  16. I wish I could go back to bed. I'm too wide awake in the mornings to do that. But now give me an afternoon snooze and I'm all for it! Of course, I'm retired and don't have a life...:)JP

  18. Ours was good but not that good. Had to watch the Rose Bowl and mentally prep for all the bowl games. That's okay....I like college football.
