..you may have wondered "where has she been?"
Well...
This was my weekend of the season to work..
So Saturday and Sunday was spent toiling away at the park...
lots of campers.....lots of rain....
not a good fix..!!
Then yesterday found me canning salsa and tomatoes from the $10.00 box of 'maters CityBoy picked up at my favorite veggie stand on Friday....
15 pints of salsa and 4 quarts of 'maters....not bad....
Now it's back to work for 3 days and then a 3 day weekend....!
MaleChild is moving to his new digs on Friday...
guess what i'll be doing on my 3 day weekend...
Live in the Moment
That's where you were!! Here I thought you were still fogged in!! Those tomato items will be so wonderful this winter.
ReplyDeleteLove the maters and salsa. Stuff will be delicious later, that is for sure.
ReplyDeleteI can sympathize with the rain and camping. We seem to have brought rain with us at every park as we drove North. But sunshine here today in Rondout Valley, New York.
Good to see you back!
Hi there, I love salsa but have never made it; wondering if you posted your recipe. Glad you've gotten some rain. It looks like my sil took a job here and passed on the one in NC; however I do see it in the future.

You will be having a busy weekend for sure. I do remember those days of moving back to school only too well. Have a safe trip.
ReplyDeleteEnvious of your canning! Along with the joy of travel this summer, I did have to forego my beloved gardens & harvesting. Love your header photo - looks like we share the same attachment to log homes and country living. Thank you for dropping by to visit & joining my Followers. Our WiFi is unpredictable as we travel but I try to respond as soon as we have a signal.
ReplyDeleteI thought about canning this year, but have no cans and no interest in rounding them up. Yours look enviable.
