Three Beaks.....

Well...
Actually there are four beaks...
Yep!
Four little baby birds in that little tiny nest.
Mommy and daddy bird are extremely busy with the chow line.
Our summer intern put up the sign....
We've had several people think it was a fake nest and start to take it down...

Now the question is....do we take it down and save it when the birds fly away or do we leave it and see if they return next year...?
Hummmmm....
Something to ponder this summer...

  1. I don't know if birds will reuse a nest or not. Something to look into.

    1. Some birds will return to a nest, I'm not sure about robins...

  3. Robins usually like a clean nest, up here they build new nests mostly. They can have several batches of young a year:)

  4. It would be interesting to leave it, but get their Robin # before they leave. ;-)

  5. I'd leave it up. We had robins return for years until a storm blew their nest down.
