Spirt of Spirit....

For some reason "stars" are seeking me out this year...

Last week these two sparkly silvery guys jumped in my basket at Wal*Mart...

So i brought them home with no idea what to do with them...

They ended up on this wreath...

Maybe the bird feeder had something to do with it...

A Reprieve.....

Yep...

the call came about 6:45 yesterday...

The groomer is having issues with her car and must get it taken care of...

sooooo...

the Diva and the Mountain man get a reprieve until Monday..!

Max was so excited he took a nap...

Yesterday afternoon looked like this and what did i do instead of going out and enjoy it....?

Well

The Christmas cards are all signed, sealed, labeled and soon to be stamped...

CityBoy's job for the day is stamping and mailing...

 

I seem to have found some "spirit" this year..!

Poor Max.....

He just over heard me talking to the dog groomer...

Max...is a neighborhood terrier....we're not sure what sort of mix is in his blood line..

but

somewhere along the way there were some long hair genes....

as a result his coat is fine...very uneven...thick in some place and thin in other areas....plus it's hard to find his mouth...eyes...and ears...

Now that he has developed skin issues, the cute vet suggested that we get him groomed, which should enable us to keep a closer watch on his problem areas...

He's never been groomed and is scared of the noise made by CityBoy's beard trimmer...

So

the groomer is gonna scissor clip him - with just a little clipper action in certain areas...

He's goin on Friday and i'll post pictures ...

Oh Yeah....!

Mia the Diva is also going.....just a bubble bath and nails...

Heat Wave......

64* yesterday...!!

Heavy frost that quickly disappears...

then temps start raising and according to the little weather gurus this should last allllll week..!

It was soo warm we put up the outside Christmas lights.

Never thought i'd be looking forward to cool weather and snow...
