......it ain't pretty.....but.....it was goooooooodddddd!!
No....it's not road kill....that's what was left after the carving of the bird!!
Turkey Roaster is a keeper!!
Bird came out nice and brown...juicey.....falling off the bones.......and delicious....
another plus!!.....it takes less time for the bird to cook because the space inside the roaster is so confined!!
12 pounds of bird, with the stuffing inside......done in 4.5 hours......not bad!!
No more getting up before the sun to put the bird in the oven!!
No more wishing for double ovens!!
Hummmmm......what's next on my wish list??
Enjoy
You had a fabulous Thanksgiving!!! I can tell...the bird tells the whole story! Have a fabulous day! Coralie
ReplyDeleteNow that's RIGHT ON!!! I like hearing that. How totally cool.
ReplyDeleteThat looks so good. Turkey Roaster is definitely a keeper. It even browned it?
ReplyDeleteLM, I used to fix a turkey in an electric roaster for a work feast! Just take it to work and plug it in, we'd all have a feast in the afternoon. It was the best turkey I have ever tasted!! Maybe I need a new one!! The old one belonged to my mother in law, she was kind enough to let me use it year after year. Yummy good turkey!
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving!
That looks yummy with the skin so brown. A keeper for sure.
ReplyDeleteSounds and looks great
ReplyDeleteI think I may have to invest in one of those turkey roasters! We will be eating a lot of turkey since we are starting to raise our own.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear it worked out well so now I know something to put on my WISH LIST. Glad you all enjoyed the day!
ReplyDeletelooked lke that bird lost the fight lol!
ReplyDeleteIt does look yummy..
ReplyDeleteWOW, I just might have to put that on my wish list. That turkey looks so scrumptious.
ReplyDeleteThat might just make it to my wish list!
ReplyDeleteI noticed this evening that you are now a follower of my blog. I am so humbled that you saw something you liked well enough that you decided to follow it.
ReplyDeleteI have a question for you on the roaster. I have one but I've never cooked a turkey in it. Can you tell me how to do it? My hubby doesn't like stuffing (I know - I just don't get it either) so it would just be the bird itself in the roaster.
Thanks bunches!
