She is lovely! Sounds like you had a terrific weekend. Hope your Monday is a great one!
ReplyDeleteI can just feel the love put into that quilt. It will be an heirloom that will be fought over. Just beautiful. Its one of those quilts, that I will remember the design for a very long time.
ReplyDeleteShe is very pretty and the cross stitching looks great. I can understand not wanting to sell; maybe you should make one of your own dear one. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteJoy to you.

Oh that second one brought tears to my eyes Boomer...my grandmother Helen used to cross stitch beautifully and it reminds me of some of her work. Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me that a person can be that consistent with a stitch. As a kid mama kept a quilting frame hung high to the ceiling then let it down to stitch alone or with a group of women if they were making one to sale.
ReplyDeleteAmazing the talent 'unrecognized' on the large part, in this world.
Good entry.
Oh, I missed the quilt event this year...AND, YES this quilt is absolutely fantastic...Oh, my grandma hand quilted everything she did when she was alive and able to do it....Wish I was that artistic...Most women today don't take the time to do such beautiful hand stitched quilts anymore...Just sayin'
