The female parental unit has not left the house for anything except her hair appointments since she came home from rehab in March....
So...
When she called on Monday night and said "Let's go to Hammrick's" there was no questions about taking the day off and driving the one and a half hours to her clothing mecca.
She did well with her walker ..... zipped thru the aisles just like her old self, just at a slower speed....
Now that she's conquered Hammrick's maybe she'll tackle Wal*Mart...

I am so happy to hear Mom is out and about. Sounds like she is recovering fairly well if she wanted to go clothes shopping. Look out WalMart, here she comes.
