It's almost time for the Christmas tree harvest .....!!
That means...FALL....leaves changing color....pumpkins.....gords.....scarecrows.....ghost and black cats......good stuff from the summer gardens.....and that little "nip" in the air.....!!
Not to mention my favorite part....
The Smell of Christmas in the air for about eight to ten weeks...
Bring it on....!!
Enjoy
I guess I didn't realize they cut those trees so early. What a heavenly smell to have in the air there. Yes, fall is coming, but summer certainly isn't done with us yet. Have a TERRIFIC Tuesday!
ReplyDeleteYes, how neat to have that Christmas smell for so long!!! We won't have that "feel" of fall for a few weeks yet...you know, the change in light, the frequency of rain showers, a morning mist, that smell. I'm not quite ready for it yet, give me more summer please.

I didn't realize that they cut the trees quite so early. What a lovely smell to have surrounding you. I love the Christmas Season, which starts, by the way, after Thanksgiving, not before Halloween, like the stores think now.
ReplyDeleteShucks, time just flies when you are having fun. I guess we had better hurry around the oucntry and get back to NC before the snow storms in the Rockies.
ReplyDeleteYou will have a ringside seat to the fall harvest. CHRISTMAS such a great time of the year.
Love from the home of the Pony Espress!
That is not 'ouchtry' for real it is supposed to be 'country', no proof reader! hahahahaha
ReplyDeleteI just washed my hands and can't do anything with my fingers.
I so wish fall would come soon. You wrote about it in a way one can both picture and smell the wonderful seasons ahead.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea when I saw that equipment, but the first thing I thought of was a still! :)
