....against the threat of invasion by...... a bunny......a beagle......a deer......a butterfly......a bird.....some sort'a bug.....a strange car......a strange truck......some sort'a human.....They don't care....they just like laying around the front porch......viewing their world .....and occasionally earn their keep with a bark or meow!!
