But, i opened the door to let the dogs out...
Mama was close by and he didn't seem to bother her...
Just like a happy little family......they ate their fill...and disappeared into the woods
Makes you wonder....
Enjoy

I wonder if Mama is the one who wears the pants in that family.
ReplyDeleteAhwwwwwwwwww is there anything sweeter?? NOPE!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful!
ReplyDeleteI mentioned before that my grandfather lives in front of park services for Yorktown, VA. Last Saturday we pulled up and there were 9 deer in his back yard. Seven of which were bucks. We had never seen that many before. Usually a family of five visits but not nine.
ReplyDeleteHe's a very handsome fellow, and I'm happy that he has joined his family.
ReplyDeleteIt does make one wonder for sure...one of the many things we'll never know the answers for and just be thankful for too. Have a wonderful FRIDAY!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they enjoy the buffet you leave out for them. He isn't very big, is he young? What a treat to see them everyday.

WOW a deer family. Don't think I have seen that before. You have an interesting life up in the Blue ridge! Thanks for sharing these pictures we love them.
ReplyDeleteWe are off and on the net up here. Hope this makes it.

ReplyDeleteYou must have some good tasting plants back there! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are so Lucky to have such beautiful visitors to you Garden ~ the pictures are just great ~ Ally x
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize that deer lived as families. I almost always see bucks by themselves.
ReplyDeleteVery cool - we rarely get to see the bucks here - yesterday, there were 2 does and their twins - and they were playing and nursing - very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteHow neat! My deceased husband used to work at a large research organization with lots of property. He had to check the boilers on week-ends once a month. I loved to go with him and sit in the truck reading and watching the deer.
ReplyDeleteThat's beautiful. I just love it!!
ReplyDeleteSO SWEET!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet and pretty family. That little buck may be a younger son. An old buck may have scared him up chasing him off during mating season. Helen
