Dad..?....don't know for sure...But, i opened the door to let the dogs out...
And there was our little 4-point buck chowing down with Thelma and Lou...Mama was close by and he didn't seem to bother her...
Just like a happy little family......they ate their fill...and disappeared into the woods
He's a nice looking guy.....but....lots of scars on his back and shoulders....Makes you wonder....

ReplyDeleteI mentioned before that my grandfather lives in front of park services for Yorktown, VA. Last Saturday we pulled up and there were 9 deer in his back yard. Seven of which were bucks. We had never seen that many before. Usually a family of five visits but not nine.

ReplyDeleteVery cool - we rarely get to see the bucks here - yesterday, there were 2 does and their twins - and they were playing and nursing - very cool!!!
ReplyDeleteHow neat! My deceased husband used to work at a large research organization with lots of property. He had to check the boilers on week-ends once a month. I loved to go with him and sit in the truck reading and watching the deer.
