Roll'n....roll"n......roll'n......

Somewhere under the fog cover is a .....school bus!!
Yes folks!!
It's the first day of school up here in our little section of the high country.....
Too Early...you say......
Yes ...a bit early ...but....last year we lost 21 days to "snow and ice".....
So this year there are more "make-up" days built into the calendar....
Which if we don't use them ...makes for more holidays.......yeah!!
My only problem with the first day of school......
I forgot how much traffic school creates.....!!
Enjoy

  1. In school already???? I have to go back the 25th and 26th; kids start on the 30th.

Can't believe summer is almost over.

  2. Wow, that's early even for Oklahoma. We only lose about 5 days to snow and ice. Some of our school districts have actually pushed back the start of school a week because of the heat. That saves a lot of air conditioning and utility bills! In your neck of the woods, kinda looks like the start of fall, with all that fog.

  7. Wow, that's early but the weather in your area dictates the school year I guess. When the fogs begin to roll in here, it's the end of summer. I love all the seasons but fall is my favorite! Keep your eyes peeled for the kiddos...

  14. We drove into town this morning. As we went through one of the smaller towns on the way, their school zone flashing lights were already working. We wondered if school had started but check the parking lot as we drove by and there were only a handful of cars. Must have been the teachers. Maybe they're just trying to get everyone in gear to slowing down in the school zone in the next couple of weeks.

  19. School is starting here early also. We lost so many "snow" days last year that Spring break was cancelled.
