I'm older than you but I do remember the song for sure. Farmers are making hay in Ohio too! Hope your Thursday is a great one! I finally made it back to my camper today. It's been way to long since I was here last. I saw the cut hay on the way here this morning.
Believe it or not, farmers way up here in Northern New York have gotten their first cutting of "Hay In May" which for us is early, the corn is in from looking at the meadows driving around and it surely wil be "Knee High by the 4th of July" for a good crop.
Awww cute, the comment from Muffy!! I once bucked bales in Missouri, but ain't no one man gonna buck those bales. Oh yes, Sherry remembers jerry, I was too young!(Uhoh, smile)
The animals on the farms near you will never get a 'square' meal again. Sorry.... Wisconsin joke.
