As you may know we have a 25' flagpole in the front yard.
It was CityBoy's birthday gift to me in 2001...my BD is shortly after 9/11.
It proudly flew our flags in Florida for several years and then when we moved to North Carolina we dug it out of the ground and it rode in CityBoy's truck for the 875 mile trip.
It slides into itself to a manageable 6'.....thank goodness...
Up here in the mountains at the first show of winter high winds or snow....
CityBoy removes the flags and telescopes the pole down for the winter...
But....Looky....looky....
CityBoys putting the flags back up...!!
The weather has been sooooo warm and nice he decided the flags needed to fly...
They're up.....they're flying...
I'm not telling him about the cold front coming in today...
the one with high winds and lots of rain...
The fur babies and i are off to the groomer...
Wish us Luck..!!

Awesome that you get to fly the flag this late in the season. Good luck today. I can't wait to see the results!!!
ReplyDeletehere we have rain and it may turn to some snow overnight. Hope you make it home before the bad weather sets in there. It's really nice the flag pole goes up and down like that. Have a wonderful Monday!
ReplyDeleteI love flag fliers!!!! I also love the flag pole. Gotta think of getting one of those. Great idea. Yeah for the City Boy (and the mt. MAMA). Hope you and the kids have a nice day.
