Roll'n.....Roll'n......Roll'n.....

....those tree trucks just keep-on....
I always wonder where those trees are going...

Hey.....now that i have time on my hands...
i'm thinking of setting up an Etsy Shop..
with some of my reversible table runners....cat mats....place mats....etc...
not anything big or costly...

What'a think...??

Those of you that already have shops....
is it worth the time... effort and money...??

Undecided...

It's another "flip the coin" decision...

Life is Good

  1. It seems impossible but I think all those trees will probably find good homes. It's hard to imagine that, but they are not the only ones cutting Christmas trees either. I'd be interested in what you find out about an etsey shop. I think all the things you make are wonderful so I'd say there is a market for them. I know I've bought several quilted table toppers at craft shows and love them. Hope your Thursday is a great one!

  2. I don't know much about Etsy, but I do know your Runners and place mats are beautiful and well done. If you do it, I'd be interested in hearing how it goes. I am also thinking of selling my hats and mittens, but not this year. I am thinking I would rent a spot at a local craft fair for a one or two times a year. I wouldn't have to mail items etc. My two cents worth.

  3. I've seen some really nice things on Etsy. Go for it. It will be fun and making a little money isn't bad either.

  4. Hey, I kow the trucks are headed to a lot near someone who is waiting. It is amazing the increas in live christmas trees vs the artificial ones. I do love the smell of the live tree, butnot for the RV.
Never even heard of Etsy. I assume a web store, amazing that folks do good it seems. I order a lot from web stores.
    From Florida!!

  5. Hi there, Wow that is alot of Christmas trees. I love seeing all your projects but also realize an etsy shop is a lot of work; I have a friend who has one and she is never sure what will sell and what won't. I think if I was going to do one, I'd test the folks out there by offering one or two items and see how fast they sell.
Hope you have a delightful evening.
    Hugs, Noreen

  6. hmmmm....that's a lot of Christmas trees! I have an fake one, with the lights already attached. I miss the smell of the real ones, but the ease of putting up my new fake one, won me over. I've been on Etsy for quite some time. I love it... and have made $$$'s on sales and more $$$'s for special requests because of my Etsy store... It's inexpensive, and easy to set up (I'm not very puter savvy) Go for it!!!

  8. My daughter has an etsy store and she's enjoying it. I have the address to her's on my sidebar. The things you make are really nice and I think they would sell well. Take care, Sheila
