That's why i can't believe i turned down.....a half of bagel with cream cheese...!!

This is the year of "ME" and one of my big issues has to do with blood sugar...

I knew i had one on the computer memory somewhere and i ran across it this AM while searching for a pix to put on today's blog.....

It must be two years (or more old).....cause that's my State Park's t-shirt and i'm parked at the ranger station on Mt. Jefferson.....haven't work at that park in two years....
And i gave those t-shirts to one of the maintenance guys...
Hummmmmm.....when did i take this...!!??

Anyway....

I got squished and then headed out to New River State Park to re-up my application...

Good Thing...

Found out they're bringing me back on Feb 24th....!!
I was counting on March 1st..

Now i just need to get this surgery thing scheduled.....soon....
so i can do my two - four week recovery...
Cause...
I'm going back to work...!!

I finally solved my unemployment issue...yeah!
Got a ringing sound around 12:30....
then waited on hold for 54 minutes....
consultant took all of 54 seconds to fix my issue...
I now have a security question and a security answer and a new pin number...
That should whole me until i go back to work in March...!!

ps....i think my "word" for 2012 is "security" or maybe "code".....

One of those days.....

....maybe i should take Mia's advice and "just relax"...!

I had four things to accomplish today....

• schedule my mammogram
• schedule my surgery
• fix the boo-boo i made on my unemployment claim this past week

• and update my application with the State Parks

The day is half gone and i'm only got two and a half things crossed off the list..

• Mammo.....Oh great!! they had a cancellation tomorrow...
• Up date app tomorrow after mammo.....and maybe lunch with the park girls....
• Girls at doctor's office must speak to the Dr. before they schedule me and the Dr. is in surgery....

• Busy signal.....busy signal.....busy signal.....that's all i get from the unemployment "help" line - leads me to believe i wasn't the only one that had a problem on Sunday..

The problem was another "security code" issue....
i now need a security code answer along with my pin number...

I must have a subconscious aversion to "security codes"

Three Finished......

Took a quick break and finished a charity quilt....
This one is for "Quilts for Kids"

They'll send you the fabric.....you sew it together and send it back...
Then .... they'll give it to a child that's enduring a long hospital stay...
Such a deal...!!

Then..... I've finished two of the three commission quilts...
Third is on the sewing table being sewn together...

I'm pondering what the next few weeks will bring on the snow scale for the high country...

....The snow finally arrived and looks like it will be staying around for a while...
Not much is sticking to the ground....due to the winds....gusts up to 60 mph...

I might need to put weights in Mia and Max's sweaters...just to hold them down...
Or maybe strings....then i can fly them like kites...

....Misskitty is in her "watch mode"....

After last nights storms....with the thunder....lighting....winds and south of us tornadoes...
she's decided that the sky needs to be monitored...

She's watching for the snow that's suppose to start tonight and last for the next four days..

She's watching the driveway for her "boy"....who's been running back and forth to Boone..
Classes at ASU start next week.....all those last minute "things" to take care of....
Did you know that at some colleges you can now "rent" your textbooks....??
No more fighting to buy those used ones.....

Pilot Error......

Let me start by writing......i finally got my "code" and my bill was paid...

Yeah....!!

My "code" was there all the time...
It was hiding in the spam....greymail...unacceptable address...
what ever your e-mail system calls the e-mails it scans and filters...

When i went back to request a "code" for the sixth time...
i finally read the tiny little print at the bottom of the page...

there was the suggestion that if you don't receive your code in a timely manner...
try your spam file..

Hummmmmmm...

There they were all five of my "code" request.....

Hummmmmm...

I have learned two things from my "pilot error"

Always check my spam folder
and
I get a heck of a lot of housework done when i'm frustrated.....angry....upset....or stewing about something....

Until i run into a snag...
I spent hours setting up all the accounts..
Kept careful track of "all" the log in info....making sure no two were alike...
Now today....
I need a log in security code.....issued by the company...

Hit the "next" button to apply for your code..
Options..

e-mail
Applied twice for "code" sent by e-mail..
Waited an hour......no luck
Cancelled e-mail...
Applied for land line "code"
Waited an hour.....walked the dogs with phone in hand....took a shower with phone on counter..
Still waiting....

Maybe i'll just sent them a check...
You know......the old fashion way...

USPS..
It'll probably get there before i receive my "code"...!

with the mystery illness that hit mid-December....Mia's vet trips.....the holidays.....and the whirlwind trip to Florida...i feel like i've been on the roller coaster ride from He--!

Time to take down the Christmas decor.......time to reopen the sewing room.....time to make a real grocery shopping trip.....catch up on the laundry.....
