Mountain Music...

Ken & Brad Kolodner
www.kenkolodner.com

We went to hear this father and son duo last night.
Dad plays the Hammered Dulcimer and fiddle.
Son plays anything with strings...
Also, one of our local talents played the piano and dulcimer along with them on a few tunes...

Great "old" mountain music and some new stuff composed by the son.
Very informal.....saw a few pair of pressed jeans....

Mom, the SIL, CityBoy and Me.......we had a great time...

Everyday is a Gift

  1. One of our daughters had someone play the hammered dulcimer at her wedding reception!

  2. Sounds like a fun time. I had heard the term 'hammered Docimder' all my life but was in my 60's before I actually saw and heard one. A neat instrument.
Good you guys can come off the mountain and enjoy it.

  3. I do love that good old mountain music! I play a lap dulcimer, not a hammered dulcimer like the one you pictured. What great fun! Hope you have a super Saturday!
