OK....i'm ready......

Well....it's August 1st and this is what it looks like outside.....
It's 63* on the front porch and i can't see the road...
With weather like this i decided we should be ready....

Sooooo....here's what we're doing....
Large apothecary bottle with cork to put glass beads in....
Tomato jar to hold extra beads......OMG.....hope i don't use that many....!!

Blue beads for heavy fog......green beads for light fog...
(note bottle has a blue bead already)

We'll see if this "ole" mountain woman thing works....

We're off to a bad start.........damn fog!!

Enjoy

  4. It was 66 when I got up this morning. Now, it's 70, which, in my mind, is just about perfect. I'm so intrigued by all the fog you get.

  5. We did have that same cool temp here early this morning but no fog and it's already 71 in the shade. It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out come winter. I'll be watching to see what happens

  10. Oh yeah, it works. We had fog this morning as well. For every fog in August, there'll be a snow in winter. Autumn has arrived, at least during the evenings, and things have cooled down a tad. Thank God.

  11. Well, I may have to try that myself! However, with the kind of weather we're having this week, I'm sure the jar will be empty!
