I'm ready to sit on the front porch and enjoy the gentle mountain breezes, mother nature, sun shine and a cool drink...............
Tryed it yesterday ....since the temp got allll the way to 63*........but, it's just not the same.....wearing jeans, flannel shirt, socks, clogs, wind gusts in the 40mph range and drinking coffee..............nawwwwww!!!!
It's not the same as .......shorts, t-shirt, barefoot and sweet tea ...............
Maybe...June?........July?.......August!!!

Oh I'm SO ready too! I love those rocking chairs you have on your porch. Must be a great place to sit and relax on a hot summer day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my journal!
ReplyDeleteOh man, NC? The husband and I had gandered at settling in NC but life changed plans and we're building our home in Southern Maryland. I love your log cabin.
I will have more of a back porch with a view of woods. We'll be living in Amish land and our back property will is waterland protected so no one will build behind us. I love porches. They are made for families and of course, sweet tea, lol.
We had a picture-perfect day yesterday. Today it's back to reality.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous porch. I'm jealous! (except it was 70+ here yesterday) Coffee and pajamas on the porch sound nice right now.

I'm right there with you. All these clothes make me feel claustrophobic. I'm ready willing and able to enjoy the sunshine and all that it brings. Take care and enjoy your Today,

I'm ready for that porch sittin' my self. My rocker has been sitting out back on the patio collecting snow most of the winter. My front porch swing is still hanging there too! They look so sad sitting there empty.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a lovely place. I would love sitting out there with you....
