Yes.....it's me again.....Misskitty..

i'm still on watch...

Seems Mia has severe allergies

which is causing asthma like breathing...

She's now on the same meds as Mommy...

and they are wheezing together....

Max..!

Max is following Mom and Mia like a shadow...scooping up all the treats that Mom tries to give Mia ..but..she refuses...!!

He's worthless for anything except as a carpet sweeper...

"So......the watch goes on....

Good thing they treat me well...

I should go on a "blue-flu" for a few days...

let'um see how many varmits are really in the yard...!!"

she is not doing well with all the pollen in the air and her breathing sounds like a freight train coming down the tracks....she's not even eating her treats...!

Mommy's a nervous "Nellie" and has had her to the doggie ER vet twice in the last three days..

the ER vets believe it's allergies..

But

Who knows for sure...

Mia's not talking...

Being the perfect kitty that i am.....i'll keep you posted...

This weekends.....

I guess the old saying....

"that a farmers work is never done"

is true..

This crew worked from 10am till 10 pm Friday..

took a break until 8am Saturday and then worked till almost midnight...

Happy Memorial Day....

Well.... we made it..!!

The Friday from hell....produced one shouting match (brawl)....2 traffic tickets.....campground bulging - even the over flow areas are full.... and about 100 beers poured out on the ground..

NC State Parks does not allow alcohol...

but

they still try and sneek it in....

All in all.....it was a good day...

Friday.....the first day of a MAJOR camping weekend...
All the camp sites are reserved..

The tenters and the RV'ers will be rolling in alllll day..
and
i'll have to deal with the campers that decided to "just take a chance" the park has some spaces available....

Maybe i'll get more than 5 maters ...maybe some green beans....and if i can keep Max out'a the pool...maybe a spaghetti squash...

Saturday i went with the MaleChild into Boone...

Had to arrange housing for next semester...

After that he took me on a tour of the Appalachian State University campus...

Beautiful place..

But

The "windmill" that was the only thing i took pictures of...

this one powers one of the dorms or a small sports complex..

we weren't sure...

 

Hummmmm.....

Windmills really fascinate me..!!

Could i get a smaller version of this for the backyard...

Come on guys....!.....one that wouldn't cost me $90,000.00...!!

I'd settle for the $9,000.00 model...

BTW it's very quite....we couldn't hear it turning...

Even with the radio off....!

...this full rainbow appeared in the valley late yesterday afternoon....!

Woo Hoo........my ship has come in.....there's a pot of gold at one end...!!

Which end...?

Do i grab a shovel and head for the north end....or the south end..?

Do i interrupt the MaleChild's studying for finals and send him to one end and then run for the other end myself...

Decisions.....decisions....!!

Then the brain said...."with your luck lately...the pot would be full of coal...like a Christmas stocking for a bad child..."

So..

I left the shovel in the garage.....didn't bother the MaleChild....

sat on the front porch and watched the rainbow slowly fade away...

I offered to employ a lawn service in October when the Social Security starts rolling in...

Mom yells....."Kitty that's 20 feet in the air!!"

Dad yells at Mom....."She'll only do it once..!!"
