Yesterday....
as the cabel guys were installing the new cable and removing the "dish"...
In an effort to keep the dogs from chewing off their legs,
i took them into the sewing room with me...
After about 15 minutes the mess began to get to me...
So we start pulling out of the stash....re-folding....sorting by size....tossing....giving away...
So far on the left end of my counters is the "fat quarter and less than a half a yard, but saveable stack......on the chair is my Christmas can't throw or give away fabric plus a small bag of "just" toss its.
The three stack by and behind the machine are the more than a yard....close to a yard and must be backing fabric...
On top of the machine is the "i don't want this anymore" stack and is going to the dog groomer to cut for bandanas...
What you don't see is the BOX of pieces....they have no real size ...but....i might be able to use them....that is hiding under the counter...
Hummmmmm
It's a start...
Everyday is a Gift
What a great job you did of sorting out. Great idea to give material to the dog groomer. I always love seeing those cute bandanas on dogs. I used to put them on mine. I've never had dish except for when we were camping and I do prefer cable. But it's not always available everywhere. I hope you enjoy it. Have a fantastic Friday!
ReplyDeleteGood job cleaning and sorting in your sewing room. Hopefully cable will give you more than your dish did. Have a good Friday and weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteToday your gift was time. Even if you were forced into it!!
ReplyDeleteAlways a job to straighten, but that is a good time to do it, when you are about forced to!!!
ReplyDeleteNeat about the bandannas... Never thought of something like that..
From Wildwood, LOVE
good for you...organizing your sewing room; that's a task!
