and then "maybe" a little snow flurries Friday night.

 

I thought we were all through with that!

Almost every time one of us spots the little bugger...we grab the camera and out the door we go...

I took this one and it's about the best we've gotten so far..

Yesterday CityBoy was mumbling something about setting up the tripod...but, it's too cold out there...

Also...i've had some questions on the name of this years "HOG"...

and since i'm not sure of the gender....i'm just calling it...

This looks more like hurricane season in Florida..!

All this cold and wet brought out the breathing problems...

Soooo....

With the asthma..the ears..and the muscle spasms in my back...

it's back to bed for me..

E-mailed the guys at the park that they'd have to hold the fort without me today...

They Heard Me Calling .....

...sitting on the front porch yesterday afternoon I heard them and then i saw them...

Two little males buzzing around ... checking out the feeders....circling each other and at last landing on the feeders for a long drink.....one hummer on each feeder...

One on each  (?).... Did this keeping them from fighting...

Nawwwww....

The one on the left dive bombed the one on the right and then they were off....!!

Buzzing......sipping....fighting....

Happy Birthday.....Ouch...!!

Happy Birthday to my baby girl...

I'm not telling her age...but...when did she get to be older than me...?!

Sweetie....the cards in the mail ....honest!!

Double Ouch....not only am i old enough to have a daughter that age..

but

i went to the doctor yesterday to see about these crickets i'm hearing in my ears and she said....

"You should be running a temp and screaming in pain..."

Infection in both ears...!!   Ouch...!! no wonder they were a little achy..

So...now i've got 10 days worth of decongestants and pills as big as my thumb..

If the crickets would stop chirping everything would be perfect...

I think...maybe...who knows...

One of our neighbors rotate pasture land and this is their way of moving the horses when they don't want to ride...

It's a funny sight coming down the road and you can hear the "clip-clop" for miles..

Wouldn't and/or couldn't do this in Florida....!!

What...??

I created an e-mail account within the g-mail system yesterday for a new seasonal employee....

now blogger is showing that address as my main contact for my Blog.....

How did this happen?

I tried to fix it..

nothing seems to work...

Does anyone out there know how this happens and how to correct it...?

Maybe i'll just close this site and create a new one...

I'll keep you posted...

Last year the first hummer pecked on the front door April 19th...

this year with this strange weather...

Hummmmmm.....who knows...

So

This weekend...the cleaning....filling and hanging of the feeders are on the "To Do" list...

Rabbits.....

...we've got rabbits...!!

The rabbits here in the mountains are strange....

last year we didn't see many and we chalked it up to the beagles under Mom's porch....

This year the beagles are still there and we've got rabbits...

RABBITS...!!

Everywhere.....little ones.....big ones....i swear some are as big as Max & Mia...big ears....floppy ears....whiskers twisting.....in the yard.....on the driveway....hopping across the road....looking in the door at work...

I guess it could be worst.....they could be roaches....!!

Yep....took a little unplanned break over the holidays..

I was soooo tired of blogging about the weather and Passover/Easter are very quite holidays around the ole cabin in the Twelve Acre Wood...
