Last year the first hummer pecked on the front door April 19th...
this year with this strange weather...
Hummmmmm.....who knows...
So
This weekend...the cleaning....filling and hanging of the feeders are on the "To Do" list...
Everyday is a Gift
We must be on the same wave length, because I cleaned and filled my hummingbird feeders yesterday. I know the scouts come the end of March or early part of April, and I definitely want them to find my feeders. They are my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that when they get there those hummers will appreciate your having a drink for them. Those little birds always amaze me. It is usually 2 weeks after your first sighting that we see them here in Ohio. I'll be watching to see when they arrive there. Hope your Wednesday is a wonderful one!
ReplyDeleteOur probably won't arrive until May. But I am getting my feeder prepped and ready.
ReplyDeleteI'm ready for their return also!! Oh how I love all the birds!!
ReplyDeleteOur's were here right on time to entertain us with their antics and devouring our sugar.
ReplyDeleteHere in SoCal we have hummers all year round. There are less in the winter time, but they never all go away.
ReplyDeleteI betcha the Hummers aren't as confused as us humans.
ReplyDeleteThis has been some strange times... I just blame Global warming! (I don't know what else to blame!)
I bet you so enjoy spring time there!
