.......yes....there really is such a place......it's called Patrick's in Covington, GA...
When we drove into the parking lot...we really thought we were at a garden store and as we walked in the side door, all we saw was farm supplies, feed and seeds....and then you looked up....
Quilts...quilts....quilts and more quilts....the entire right side of the barn was fabric and quilting supplies.........there's Mom (pink shirt) amazed at the different patterns and styles....
See the one in the middle, the one that looks like it's spinning.....? That's the one my #2 grandson decided he needs for his bed......Happy sewing female child....lol
Quilts and Boots....?
Quilts and candy and all kinds of sauces, cheese, fresh ham, bacon and baked goods..

Female child (orange purse) and #2 grandson checking out the sale tables.....yes, there was more than one.......Mom still in awe.........
What did these two buy.......Candy!... off the "ON SALE" candy table!

We almost needed a large box to get all our fabric and stuff to the car.......the good ole' boys behind the cash register offered to help us out to the car.......maybe i should have bought the wheelbarrow in the garden section....but, it was by the wind chimes....which i really had to stay away from.......
Anyway........Patrick's is a 61 year old family owned business and a must see if you'er down in the Atlanta area........and it was only #2 on our favorite list........more later!
What a great place to go.... lucky you!

I would love this place. Are the quilts for sale or just display? Glad you three had such a good time.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful place. You would get a stiff neck after awhile looking up at all those quilts. It must have been something for them to get them all up there. A loaded box and only your second stop...I bet you had fun shopping.

I've been waiting to see this post all day. Wow is all I can say. You were so fortunate to be able to visit this place. A dream store for sure.
ReplyDeleteI would love to browse around in that store. Helen
ReplyDeleteOooooo, that looks like my kind of place. I might have to get Hubby to take me there.
ReplyDeleteAlright, now I know where Covington is, its not far from Mama and Daddys in Stockbridge either! Sounds like a neat place, I think I will check it out next time I am down that way if I have time. After all, I always need feed and seed. ;)
ReplyDeleteEnvious of you, even though I don't quilt, just seeing that many beautiful quilts in one place had to have been awesome. Thanks for shaing pics with all of us
