Looking over my shoulder.....taking a second peek at this past week.....i can sum it up in one word.........RAIN.......!!
For the last eleven days....at some point during each 24 hour time span.....we've had the wet stuff.......the ground is sooooo wet at this point that the dogs are sinking into the mud on they're daily trips outside.....
the house feels damp......the grass is very tall and very green.......the trees are budding out.....gardens are sprouting......the puddles are becoming swimming pools for the birds......the deer are looking a little soggy around the edges.....but.....the rabbits....ohhh, the rabbits....they are in full glory (mating) season!!
Have Florida guest coming for dinner tomorrow.......hope the bunnies can keep it under control.....other wise i'm gonna call it "Mountain wild life entertainment..."
What are your plans for the weekend??
I am going to vacuum, do the dishes, wash the windows, do the laundry... just kidding.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait for the rain to dry up a little bit.....have a great weekend and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Going to visit the graves
ReplyDeleteAt least you don't have snow. Right now our province has snow in 4 different places and it's cold enough here to have snow, should it decide to do so. Unreal this weather.
ReplyDeleteCover your eyes... the bunnies are at it again! Um, maybe you should issue blinders to your guests... lol

(thought our rain was gone but hearing thunder outside)
Aww, come on gals......
ReplyDeleteShare some rain with us on the west coast! We really, really need it!
We have had rain here in Virginia for the last 2 weeks also. It's actually starting to thunder now, and I just heard the weather report, it's suposed to rain tonight and continue through tomorrow morning. They have issued flood alerts in some area. I am so ready for some sunshine!! Have a great weekend with your friends from Florida.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Pat
