..before the storm...
It's a beautiful 43* outside right now..
but
by noon the winds are suppose to be howling and the snow is suppose to be blowing..
Somewhere between 1-4" by midnight...
Schools are open .... the park is open...
things should change in a few hours...
I'm hurrying into work...getting things done and then running home when the first flakes start to fall...
I'm to old for this "playing" in the fluffy white stuff...
but
i do like to watch it come down...
safe and warm with a good book or my sewing machine...
..Hope is Forever..
I agree with you about being too old to play in the white stuff. I try to avoid going outside when it is snowing.

ReplyDeleteHere we are mostly just getting colder. Only a little snow so far, but we are back in the deep freeze. Hope you get home safely and can snuggle in!

ReplyDeleteI am with you on playing it safe. When I was a younger thing, it was nothing to brave the elements because I probably just did not have any "know better" yet. Now that I have learned from the school of hard knocks on occasion, I would prefer to watch the white fluffy stuff from the comfort of home.
