....well...there's a little bit showing up on the hardwoods behind the house....
Color this year was off to a fast start...some leaves began as early as September 1st....
Now they seem to have slowed down.....Old timers say.....it's because of all the rain we've had in the last few weeks....
but....the experts say...mid-October we should have peak color !!
I think..mid to late October...but....what do I know...
I'm a Florida girl transplanted to the mountains!!

Same here in Iowa LM! It began early, and then just stopped! Soon we will have a magnificent rainbow of fall colors!!

It is the same in Ohio too. We really have had alot of rain and the grass just keeps growing. It will be mid to late October here too. Have a great Saturday!
ReplyDeleteI remember when Ken and I got married in 1990 on Oct 27th we went to the mountains. Everything was at it's peak then but I think it usually comes quicker than that most years. Helen
