I Had This Jelly Roll.... had been sitting on the stash shelf since the Shop-Hop of 2009.....
Poor Thing....!

So....i said to myself....."'ve never made a jelly roll quilt.....What are you waiting for....??"
I searched for a pattern....found a simple one.....and proceeded to cut and sew.....

It wasn't until i'd got the front finished ..... that realized....

It's a Christmas Fabric....!!!

Well.....i wanted a "real" Christmas quilt......and when this is finished....

I'll have two...!!

My new "Quilts for Kids" fabric arrived Friday afternoon...
Love that big brown box truck...!!

Life is Good

  1. Your quilt turned out awesome!

  2. I didn't know it was Christmas fabric either...No matter it is still gorgeous. With all the new stuff coming in on the box truck and what you have stashed, I guess you are going to be busy for a long long time. I hope your Sunday is a wonderful one!

  3. Hi there, Great job on the quilt top-I've never done a jelly roll quilt either but I may have to think about this plus I do have to make a baby quilt soon. So you had snow a few days ago and today(after having 76 degrees yesterday)it is raining with snow showers-I'm so ready for spring and the sun to stay.
Have a wonderful day-I'll be hand quilting.

  4. Okay,We neophytes could see this molded old pastry, jelly roll, that you were about to decide to see if it was still good!! LOL

Love the patterns and it is good to educate the unlearned sometime, thanks.

Love sent from up here, rain ans snow, and I thought it was Spring. A friend up here says they have 5 seasons. Winter, March, Spring Summer and fall.
