Smoke...
There's a big forest fire southeast of us and the winds are blowing northwest...
so
it looks and smells like a thousand fireplaces out there...
Not good for a girl with asthma...
Maybe the wind direction will change sometime today...
Still using this tiny little keyboard.....hope my laptop can come home today...
Everyday is a Gift
Forest fires are never a good thing. Hope it's put out soon and everyone keeps safe. Usually I'd love the smell of a wood fire...but not in this case for sure!

Hopefully you aren't in the fires path. Stay safe. I usually love the smell of a fireplace but not when I know it is burning a forest. Have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteHope the Fire burns out or is put out soon!!! I dislike forest fires even though I am told they do do some good, it is nature. BUT.....
I vividly remember all the brushfires I had to contend with in Southern California - - and they killed my sinuses!

So sorry to hear of the fire, and hope it is now safe and secured. We had a fire a few streets away. Someone's shed went up like a candle but thankfully did not get to their house.
ReplyDeleteWe were getting some of that smoke Friday morning especially out toward Ferrum where I work. Just seems to be cloudy and misty on Sunday, that should help with the fires. I am liking these warm nights.
