Wipe Out...!!

(que Beach Boy music)
He came from south of Atlanta...
There was some snow on the ground...
There were saucers in the garage...
He's 10 years old...
He had to try...
He wiped out......several times....
He needed more snow...!
But
He had to try...

Yes the female child and two of the grandsons made a quick trip to the mountains...
Got to experience some snow.....not as much as they wanted...
Stayed up late talking....got squeezed by the Parental Units up the hill...
Had dinner with us and the MaleChild...
then
Headed south once again...
Good thing i had today off....i needed at least 48 hours of recovery time....

..Hope is Forever..

  1. Good Morning, I so understand needing down time after having family and grands over. When our whole group is together, we have 17 of us; by the time they leave, hubby and I crash on the couch.
Hope you have a restful day today!
    Hugs, Noreen

  5. I bet they loved the snow and sledding. For those that don't have it is a lot of fun. for me on the other hand, I am longing for spring. There is hope...I can see buds forming on the tree branches. I too can relate to resting up after a family visit. Glad you had the day off!

  6. It got to a point when we had our visits with our grandparents that we rented a hotel ... lol. They were appreciative. I hope you get some rest up time. I was wondering how you folks fared in comparison and Southern, Maryland got enough snow that would have made that saucer go go go! :-)
