Yep...
That's a snow flake on Mia's tail feathers...
Temp is 20* and the wind is blowing it's head off...
lowering things to about 3* on the front porch...
The mountain should be below zero...
hope someone beats me there...opens the main gate and turns up the heat...
Can't complain....no snow in the future...
which means no ice...
(i hate ice)
But
Even with the wind...cold...snow...ice....
i love it up here in the high country...!!
Everyday is a Gift
My thermometer says it is 6 degrees here this morning and it's snowing. The ground is once again covered in white. I do hope things are warm on the mountain for you and that the roads are clear. Take good care!
ReplyDeleteGood thing for fur baby sweaters!
ReplyDeleteSpring will be here soon
Have a wonderful day in Your beautiful home!

So cute. I love the snow and high country area too! Enjoy it for me...
ReplyDeleteBitter cold with high winds and the wood stove is working overtime. Ceiling fans in every room, turning slowly, ensure the heat stays low. I do love Appalachian!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad the love remains, in spite of the weather. The Fur Kids (M&M) seem to like it.
ReplyDeleteYou are right ICE is bad (ON the road that is)
Very cold here this morning, but will be colder still overnight. This is such a lovely place to live, though!
